About the Event
Kambo is the sacred secretion collected from the Phyllomedusa Bicolor, a waxy, green tree frog found in the Amazon Rainforest. Kambo is traditionally used by indigenous tribes for illness, strength and 'panema' or negative energy. Western use of the medicine has seen remarkable results for a wide number of conditions ranging from Cancer, HIV, Diabetes, Parkinson's, Hepatitis, Alzheimer's, depression, anxiety and many more. Kambo works on the multiple layers of body, mind and spirit and this deep removal of toxins very often has profound results.
So how does it work?
Our bodies produce rather wonderful things called peptides – a short chain of amino acids most commonly known as endorphins, serotonin, dopamine and oxytocin to name a few, plus our natural antibiotics. Kambo contains a cocktail of unique bioactive peptides that work with the body by sweeping toxins from the cells and washing them into the stomach. These toxins are then removed from the body via purging lasting between 20-45 minutes. The treatment is held in a sacred ceremonial setting based on the traditional shamanic approach, to honour the beautiful spirit of the medicine.
The ceremony with Kambo is followed by a beautiful Gong healing to restore and recalibrate your energy.
Places are £90pp and limited to 6 people. Please RSVP for further information and to book.
